Our deliveries take 3-5 working days in the UK, 5-10 working days in Europe and 5-15 working days to non-EU countries. In view of COVID-19, shipping may take longer than usual. However, all our deliveries have been completed within 15 working days.

We offer free shipping and our prices are inclusive of all sales tax and customs duties to the following regions:

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, we have a 30 day returns policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn or unused, with tags and in the original packaging.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@thebooklover.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damage and other issues:

If there are any issues such as the item arriving damaged, faulty or if you receive the wrong item, please send us an email at support@thebooklover.co.uk.

Exceptions / non-returnable items:

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Gift cards, sale items or products purchased in conjunction with promotional offers can only be refunded to a gift voucher. Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years.


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). We can also refund you for your shipping costs in the form of a gift voucher which is valid for 3 years.

All our products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”).

We also support accelerated checkout including Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
